Kids Ages 4 to 6

This program provides an introduction to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in a safe, supervised and fun way. Our focus is on physical exercise that helps kids stay active and healthy, building skills in teamwork and basic techniques. It’s a fun way for kids to burn energy and release excess energy. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu involves a lot of movement and requires coordination between the mind and body, practicing BJJ helps children improve body awareness and coordination.

Classes include fun games which involve and incorporate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu concepts. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu helps kids develop discipline, focus, respect and general motor skills. Training in a group setting, children learn how to work with others, develop important social skills and make new friends.

Kids Ages 7 to 11

Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program focuses on creating a positive, safe and supportive learning environment that helps children develop positive behaviours on the mat that can be carried into other areas of their life.

These classes improve their physical coordination, problem-solving skills and focus. We aim to help children develop respect, discipline whilst having fun and building friendships along the way. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu builds confidence in kids by challenging themselves to learn new skills and overcome obstacles, as they progress in their training they can see the results of their dedication and hard work.

Teens Ages 12 to 15

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a great way to improve fitness both physically and mentally. It has a way of bringing people together, making new friends will give teenagers a sense of belonging with like minded students. Our Teens program includes a combination of technical instruction, drilling and sparring. The focus of the program is teaching the fundamental techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

It includes elements of character development, teaching values like perseverance, discipline, respect and building confidence. One of the most important lessons Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaches you whilst under pressure is how to make the right decisions, this is extremely important in real life situations in teenagers through to adulthood.

Adult Fundamental Classes

Fundamental classes are designed to teach new students the basic principles and techniques of the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu providing students with a solid foundation in the basics of BJJ. The classes are focused on introducing students to the fundamental movements and positions, building a foundation for students to learn and grow in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Adult Advanced Classes

Advanced classes are for students who have a high level of proficiency in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. These classes focus on more advanced techniques and strategies and involve more intense training and sparring. They involve drilling specific techniques and positions in greater depth, working on developing a more refined and sophisticated understanding of the principles of Jiu-Jitsu. Helping students to continue and grow their skills.

No-Gi Classes

These Classes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu focus on the application of BJJ techniques without the use of the traditional GI (Kimono). In these classes students wear NO-GI shorts and a rash guard top. The techniques and strategies used in NO-GI are similar to those used in traditional BJJ, but the lack of GI changes the way techniques are applied and students are required to adapt their style.
